I am Meredith Jones and it is my pleasure to serve as your K-8 Curriculum Director. I am originally from Raleigh, NC but I have lived in Watauga County since 1997. I hold a Batchelors Degree in Social Science Education from Appalachian State University and a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, also from Appalachian. I taught Social Studies at Watauga High School for 6 years before becoming the Curriculum Specialist for Grades 6-8 in Watauga County. I have also worked with K-12 Health and PE, K-12 Fine Arts, Initially Licensed Teachers, and Science Safety for Watauga County Schools.
